We rate the difficulty of each bunkie kit using a simple 1-to-5 hammer scale—1 hammer being the easiest to assemble, and 5 hammers being the most involved. This helps you choose the right kit for your skill level and timeline.

For best results, we strongly recommend a minimum of 3 people to build your bunkie. More hands make lighter work—and a faster build! Having extra help can significantly reduce your assembly time and make the process smoother and more enjoyable.
Prefer to Hire a Pro?
